Embracing 2009
Monday, December 29, 2008
Hi folks, my apologies for not blogging during the school holidays. I was bumming around in Singapore, mostly resting at home. Just being able to laze around, go around Singapore to try out new food (with the new 2009 Makansutra of course!), and to top it off, catch up on my beauty sleep are really some of the simple joys in life. To sum it up, it was simply eat, sleep and be merry this holiday…. an extremely well-rested and rejuvenating one. I wonder if you are looking forward to the new year. Well, I definitely am! In fact, both my husband and I are really excited about 2009. We’re looking forward to some new challenges ahead. For my husband, he will be starting his new portfolio at Riverside Secondary as HOD. Being a leader in the middle management is definitely not an easy feat. However, with his drive and resourcefulness, I’m confident that he will rise to the occasion. As for myself, there will be some changes to my deployment at work. Be it at work or at a personal level, I'm going to embrace the new challenges. Whatever new challenges 2009 may bring, armed with God’s strength, grace and wisdom, we can certainly ride out the storms together!
