Excuse me, she ain't gonna be a model!

Yes, it's confirmed now. We are going to have a little princess! According to the sonographer, the baby is growing very well, in fact, a little too well. At this moment, she's an M-sized, bordering on an L-sized baby. The gynae suspected that she might be going through a growth spurt. I sure hope her growth rate will ease off a little in the last trimester. Otherwise, I will have a hard time carry her around in the later stage. Seeing that she has extremely long limbs, the gynae unwittingly commented that she could be a model when she grows up. That was met by my unexpected silence. I bit my tongue out of courtesy, but I must have rolled my eyes in disgust and only managed to mutter an "OK". Sensing that the so-called flattery didn't go down very well with me, my gynae quickly moved on to the other aspects of the scan report. A model?! Not that there's anything wrong with the profession. With all fairness, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, etc, they are successful models and have earned big bucks. However, being a proud and probably an egotistical mum-to-be, I think my daughter will possess more intellectual capacity that allows her to be engaged in other professions rather than just parading around in swimwear and flaunting her assets in public. After all, I've been taking fish and fish oil supplements faithfully which has the alleged effect of raising the child's IQ by 7 points! Yeah, you hear me right, SEVEN points. That should make a GREAT difference isn't it??!!! *hmpf!*
